‘Standard size’ is the initial size a ring is made in when the design is first hand carved in wax by TGF’s owner and designer Reino,.
If you are unsure which size you need, or you are purchasing a ring as a gift, we recommend purchasing the ‘standard’ size.
Once you place an order with us for a ‘standard’ size piece, this can still take the same time to make as a sized piece, as the ring is still polished and finished to order by our talented team of jewellers.
Every ‘standard’ size piece comes with a ring sizer so you can measure yourself at home, use our sizing guide here to assist with home sizing.
Certain rings have sizing restrictions, due to the nature of the ring design, so please be mindful not all rings can be made in every size. We make all of our jewellery pieces to an extremely high standard, and sizing a design too big or small can compromise the quality and aesthetic.
You can then send the ring back to us for a ‘first free resize’ within 28 days of receiving your piece. For more information and T&C’s regarding first free resizing click here.
While our older designs only come in one ‘standard size’, a few of our newer designs come in several ‘standard’ sizes.
If you are ordering a piece that comes in several standard sizes, you can leave a note in the comments section of the order for which standard size you would prefer.
If you would like to know the standard size of a particular piece, this information is written on the product page for each ring, or denoted in the drop-down menu.
