The Great Frog jewellery is hand-designed by Reino Lehtonen-Riley and produced by a talented team of jewellers by hand in London.
All TGF jewellery is produced in England, including items sold in our New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo stores.
The Great Frog stores are located in London, Los Angeles, New York, and Tokyo.
We are not associated with any other business claiming to be The Great Frog or other companies who sell similar TGF designs.

Reino does not design for any other brands or individuals.
Initial designs are hand carved and whittled into wax by Reino., a mold is then produced from the wax carving which is then cast in solid 925 sterling silver and finished by hand by our talented team of jewellers in one of our London workshops.
Each TGF piece is tested and hallmarked in the London Goldsmith’s Company Assay Office; this hallmark is visible on the inside of the piece but is small enough to be illegible to the naked eye.
Regrettably, our books for bespoke orders are closed.
Solid Sterling Silver and Solid Gold
Our jewellery is made from either solid 925 Sterling Silver, solid 9ct or 18ct Gold or Platinum.
We only produce items in Solid Gold and do not offer gold plating (also referred to as “vermeil”). Gold plating has a brassy yellow colour and will eventually wear away.
All of our pieces are available upon request in 9ct and 18ct yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. We also have a small selection of gold jewellery online and in-store. Pease enquire at any of our stores or email email@example.com for a quote on other designs not listed here.
If you are unable to visit either of our locations, we would recommend using one of our ring sizers and drop us an email to help with your sizing: firstname.lastname@example.org. We offer guidelines for each finger and and for the various designs. For example: If the ring is smooth on the inside with a wide band, this would make the ring fit tighter than one would expect! With this in mind, we encourage our customers to be a little generous with their ring size, to allow the ring to pass over the knuckle, allowing the finger to bend, and the ring to be worn comfortably.
A trick we like to use with our ring sizer, is to place the sizer snug on the base of your finger, and then gently bend your fingers so your hand makes a fist. The gauge will open slightly and this will indicate just how generous we need to be with your ring size.
We have placed size restrictions on our items to avoid compromising the integrity of the ring.
If we increase the size larger or smaller than the design will allow, this will distort the design.
To make sure you get the right length chain for you, we recommend using a soft measuring tape and placing it at each length to see where it best sits on you, as this can vary from person to person.
We would recommend selecting the standard size option. This allows the recipient to choose the finger they wish to wear the item on, the item is sent together with a complimentary ring sizer, and they will receive a free resize service thereafter! Our teams will also be able to offer sizing guidelines.
Every TGF piece is lovingly handmade in our London workshops using traditional jewellery craftsmanship methods. This is a labour-intensive process so please allow approximately 8 weeks for us to make your order for you. The impact of COVID-19 means that we are operating differently so please be patient if this is over a day or two.
Duties and taxes for international shipments are not included in your shipping costs. Items purchased outside of the EU will receive a customs fee, calculated but your local customs authority.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
As all our jewellery is lovingly handcrafted please allow approximately 8 weeks for the production of your item(s) and additional time to post your item(s) to you.
Apparel and merchandise will be posted out approximately 1 week after ordering.
We send all items securely via DHL to ensure your order arrives promptly and safely once it has left us in London. Once your order has been dispatched, DHL will notify you by email and text.
- UK: Next day (once the order is complete and dispatched) DHL delivery. Free shipping for orders over £250. £8 delivery fee for orders under £250.
- Europe: 1-3 day (once the order is complete and dispatched) DHL delivery. Free shipping for orders over £250. £25 delivery fee for orders under £250.
- International: 1-3 working days (once the order is complete dispatched) DHL delivery. Free shipping for orders over £250/$400 USD. £25/$40 delivery fee for orders under £250 (up to 2kg).

We may experience delays when shipping to Mexico and South America.
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to Russia.
If your order is still with TGF, our team will be able to amend your shipping information within DHL’s system. If however your order has already been shipped, you should receive email notification from DHL, and be provided with a link that allows for updates for your delivery.

Any address, contact or sizing amendments requested via email/telephone will not reflect on your TGF email from your original order, however, all queries will be responded to and confirmed prior to their completion.
Resizing & Repairs
For our customers in USA and Canada, we request that your send your items to our Los Angeles store.
If you have a ring that needs a size adjustment please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, and we will confirm the cost and provide you with a link for payment. You will also be sent a form to include in your return. As we do not carry various sizes of our rings, our jewellers will personalise the fit according to your ring measurement. There will be a cost for the work involved.
The prices are as follows:
- A ring purchased in a ‘standard size’ (with no size allocated to the ring) will receive a free resizing service (provided it is unworn and sent back within 28 days of receiving).
- Silver ring (without stones / enamel / eyes) £25
- Stones or Eyes £50
Please note: we ask customers to kindly check on our website if the ring you have purchased can be made in the size you require, as restrictions for certain designs may apply.
For Repairs, please email email@example.com and include your order number and a photo of your item. We will confirm any cost involved.
If your jewellery has nicks and scratches on the surface, we offer a polishing and repair service and are able to buff this up and have your item looking as good as new!
Unfortunately once a stone is set within a ring, we cannot remove it or change it, as the ring has been made to measure and the stone cut to fit.
We are now offering engraving on selected TGF items, including our Rounded and Plain Bands, the majority of our Signet Rings, and the Mum and Dad Rings.
Look for the engraving button on the product pages of the eligible pieces.

These personalised engraved rings are non-returnable and can only be engraved on the inside of the band. Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer this option to our customers in Japan.
As The Great Frog was established in 1972, we have many designs that are still in production today. You will find that all of our newer pieces from the past decade now include theTGF logo, as each new piece has been carved with this on the inside of the ring. All this means is that you are wearing a ring that has stood the test of time, and is as popular now as it was when our company started! What great taste you have! Of course we understand if you prefer to have the TGF on your item, and we are here to help engrave this for you.
Returns & Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your online purchase, we will be able to accept returns and offer a refund or exchange if the item is returned within 28 days of receiving. You are responsible for paying to return the item back to us and any additional adjustment/resizing fees, we will then cover the postal costs to send the item back to you.
For store purchases, we offer an exchange or credit note (valid up to 6 months). Please ensure the item is returned in perfect condition, without scratches or signs of being worn. Due to hygienic reasons, we are unable to accept returns on earrings.
If you would like to send your item back to us for an alteration or exchange please download a returns form to send with your return.
Please then send your item(s) recorded delivery to either the TGF East (UK) or TGF LA (US & Canada) address below depending on your country of residence.
We will then return the item(s) back to you and cover the postage costs.

Once we have received your item, we will send you a confirmation email.
All returns will be prioritised and completed within 2 weeks. As soon as your item is ready to ship, you will receive tracking information by email and telephone from the shipping provider.
If any items are sent back to our TGF Soho store, we will be unable to prioritise your order and it will take longer than the allocated two weeks.

Refunds will be processed for online orders only. Store purchases will be offered an exchange or credit note valid up to 6 months. Please ensure the item(s) is returned within 28 days after receiving in perfect condition.
Jewellery Care & Questions
Silver is not an indestructible metal so please take care to look after your TGF pieces.
As Great Frog jewellery is oxidised, we would not recommend using any liquid silver cleaners or silver cleaning dips to polish your items.
This will strip off the darkened details of your item and alter how the surface of the silver looks.
We recommend using a silver polishing cloth to bring the silver up to a high shine.
If your jewellery has become unquestionably dirty, we recommend boiling water, adding some washing up liquid and using an old toothbrush to clean it up.
We use several various products to polish the silver to a high shine and to darken the recesses and details. If there is a residue of our polishing product left on the silver, this can make your skin appear stained.
This is very easily remedied and you are more than welcome to send the ring back to us and we can polish this for you, or if you simply use warm soapy water and an old toothbrush – this should remove the excess product.
We purposefully darken our silver (using a process called oxidising) in the recesses to create more depth and detail within each design.
After being worn for a few years, silver will naturally darken over time – it can also appear tarnished even after a day or so of wearing, due to a chemical reaction.
There are acids that cause the silver to oxidize, which are commonly found in the air, water, lotions, soaps and produce a reaction and cause tarnish.
Gift Vouchers & Payments
Unfortunately physical gift vouchers cannot be redeemed on our website and are only valid in-store.
Should you wish to have this converted into digital format, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and send a photo of your gift voucher torn in half.
All TGF gift vouchers are valid for up to 1 full year. If during this time you are unable to visit either of our locations to place an order, please consider converting this into a digital voucher, so you can place your order on our website! Regrettably, if your voucher has expired, our teams will not be able to accept this towards an order.
We don’t currently offer these payment providers.
