Which Stone to Pick? Topaz

The Meaning, Uses & History of Topaz:

According to the bible, topaz was one of the 12 stones to build the foundation of the walls of the New Jerusalem, also known as “Heaven” as it was known as the stone of truth and forgiveness. It has been around for centuries, and has gotten attention for it’s many qualities. It’s been used in the Middle East for adornment as long as 2000 years back, while the Egyptians believed it got its glow from the powerful Sun God Ra. Meanwhile, the Romans dedicated it to the king of all gods, Jupiter.

While Topaz comes in a variety of colours, we only stock blue topaz, which colour evokes images of the sky, wind and water. As blue is the colour of calm and quiet, it’s meant to help us channel relaxing energies and fight off stress, chaos, and negative emotions. The icy blue shade is also associated with learning, understanding, inspiration and peaceful communication, as well as soothing fears and protecting against nightmares.
