Justin O’Shea hosted his second brand collection demonstration at the Caviar Kaspia in Paris last weekend showcasing his new designs for Fall Winter 2017 – 2018.
O’Shea, being a self-taught designer created a daring line with encrusted bold shoulder suit jackets and silk dresses. O’Shea’s pieces are adorned with Wes Lang’s iconic Death Heads and The Grim Reaper designs. Having collaborated previously with The Great Frog (The Great Frog x Wes Lang Native Chief and Reaper designs) this project for SSS World Corp was a great opportunity to push our boundaries alongside some familiar talent.
Head designer and owner of The Great Frog Reino Lehtonen-Riley was asked in early December 2017 to create a collection of jewellery to complement Justin O’Shea’s bold, grunge and contemporary new line.
All of the jewellery Reino created was made from 18ct yellow gold, with many of the pieces adorned with statement Paspaley pearls in the centre. To compliment the collection Reino also engraved 3 pairs of Persol spectacles with some of Wes Lang’s illustrations.
Best known for our skull rings and heavy metal jewellery, this opportunity for Reino to create a bespoke line of unique and eye-catching art is the first of many ventures for him and The Great Frog.
