Nail Tech Pria Bhamra ‘BhamB Nails‘ has painted the nails of some incredible people, from Lily Allen and Jorja Smith to Serena Williams. She’s also TGF family member Sammi Jefcoate’s go-to girl.
What kicked off your nail career?
It used to be a hobby as I have always loved drawing and illustration, I eventually got a part-time job in a nail art salon and from there my career took off.
Have you had any ‘pinch me’ moments during your career?
Doing Serena Williams nails for Wimbledon one year was a definite highlight and unexpected – she was lovely! Seeing my nails on Centre Court will always be something I’ll remember.
Are there any women who you’re inspired by?
Ooh so many! I would say @Ciaralondon and her ‘Body By Ciara’ workouts really helped me through the first lockdown. She got me enjoying working out and has created a great community through all of this Covid stuff, bringing together so many different people and encouraging wellbeing at the same time.
What’s next in the pipeline for you?
I’m really excited to start working again once lockdown is lifted and setting up my own studio, we have recently been refurbishing our house during the lockdown and I can’t wait to have clients here. I have a few things coming up but it’s all hush hush at the moment, but I’m really most looking forward to seeing friends and clients again.
What’s your favourite TGF Piece?
I really love the ‘Smallest Evil Skull Ring.’
Rolo Tomassi ‘Tongue in Chic.’
‘Little Women’ by Louisa May Alcott. A timeless classic!
‘My Favourite Murder’ with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. I’ve got so many clients into it by listening to it during appointments. On the back of their success, they have created an amazing podcast network, and also a community of murderino’s! SSDGM!
Any words of advice?
Practice your craft and don’t give up!
