We’ve got two Gibson guitars in our range; The Gibson Les Paul and the Gibson Flying V. The Flying V was ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1958 by Gibson President Ted McCarty, who wanted to add a futuristic aspect to the company’s image. Fast forward to 2016 and the iconic guitar has been played by rock ‘n’ roll gods Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons and more.
The Great Frog introduced the Flying V Pendant as a nod to the amazing craftsmanship and sound achieved by Gibson, and more recently in homage to Gibson, we adorned the Les Paul in the shop with hand engraved ornate .925 sterling silver embellishments.
